The Collection at your Fingertips

The Musée d’art de Joliette is proud to unveil its mobile application for smart phones and tablets. Downloadable from our website, the App Store or the Google Play Store, this easily accessible tool will allow you to have a unique view of our institution. Designed for young and old, the application includes a gallery of images, audio and video clips as well as an adventure for our young audiences. Tablets will also be available at the Museum.

THE MUSEUM AS YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN IT

Profusely illustrated, the mobile application provides information on nearly 150 works from the collection. Discover our permanent exhibition with a guided tour that includes an altarpiece, a Book of hours from the Middle Ages, as well as creations of Ozias Leduc, Paul-Émile Borduas and Roland Poulin. The digital platform also features artist biographies, a three-dimensional model of the exhibition rooms, and a history of the building’s architecture. In addition, The MAJ collection at your fingertips offers a series of short videos giving a voice to several personalities of Lanaudière, of the museum and of the artistic community who speak about the museum.

PIRATE MISSION!

Pirate Mission! is a fun and interactive tour for youth from ages 7 to 12 and their families. Fred the pirate and Pablo the octopus sail in the exhibition halls The reunited islands and seek a treasure. Team up with our two heroes, get on their ship and find the treasure!
