Côte à Côte is a group exhibition based on the work of professional artists from the Lanaudière region. The exhibition brings together both emerging and established artists. Painting, photography, installation, sculpture, and drawing are featured, along with writing.
Initially, seven artists from different generations were selected. Each of them was then asked to pass the invitation on to another artist. Ève Cadieux, Josée Fafard, Normand Forget, Suzanne Joly, Jocelyne Tremblay, Jean-Philippe Lemay, and Henri Venne were chosen in the first round. Subsequently, Marie-Hélène Bellavance, Christine Bolduc, Julie Boisvert, Marie-Didace Doyon, Jean Pierre Girard, Baptiste Grison, and Éric Ladouceur were invited to join them.
The presentation of the exhibition, as well as the accompanying catalogue, received financial support from the Conférence régionale des élus(es) de Lanaudière through the Government of Quebec’s Regional Development Fund.
