This year, 2017, marks the 50th anniversary of the Musée d’art de Joliette, which was incorporated in 1967. In honour of this occasion, the MAJ is exhibiting a selection of its early acquisitions, beginning in 1943, which were collected under the leadership of Father Wilfrid Corbeil, C.S.V. These pivotal works describe the collection at the time of the MAJ’s creation and mark its future identity.
