Jobs, Internships and Volunteering
Internships
Are you studying museology, art history, archival management, communications, accounting or management? The Musée d’art de Joliette offers you the opportunity to undertake a training internship alongside the Museum’s professionals. The aim is to prepare you for the working environment by enabling you to become familiar with your field of expertise. Internships are designed primarily for college-level and university students, and may be undertaken during the fall, winter or summer session depending on the type of internship and its duration.
If you wish to apply, we suggest that you send us your curriculum vitae, stating clearly the goal of your internship

Volunteers
Volunteers are essential to the effective operation of the MAJ. We invite everyone interested in visual arts and in being an animator to join our team of volunteer guides. The Musée is looking for candidates with skills in communication and animation or with a background either in teaching or in art history and the fine arts. Applicants should demonstrate enthusiasm, enjoy working with children and adults and have good team spirit. Bilingualism is an asset. The Musée’s volunteer guides give guided tours as well as exploratory and creative workshops designed for primary and secondary school groups. They also give tours for groups of adults and seniors.
