A Peek at the MAJ Collection
This season, the curatorial team offers to look at three nudes from the MAJ collection. The pieces include one of the museum’s greatest treasures, Reclining Nude by William Brymner, as well as two works seldom exhibited since the museum acquired them, one by Joseph-Charles Franchère and the other, by Ernst Neuman, with a more modern approach. The paintings were all made by members of the Montreal art scene of the first half of the 20th century.
